1 Solid rollers
Cold forged solid rollers. Perfect roundness and concentricity, through-hardened and shto peened for increased shock and fatigue resistance.

2 Solid bush
Cold forged solid bush with clean end. Perfect roundness and concentricity. The uniformity of contact surface between pin and bushing reduces friction resistance, wear and elongation. Case-hardened and polished alloy steel, 2-Guard coated to improve anti-corrosion and initial break-in against wear.

3 Pin
Case-hardened alloy steel pin, ground and polished. Improved wear and shock load resistance. 2-Guard coated to reduce corrosion and galling.

4 Link plates
Shape of link plates designed for improved durability and maximum fatigue resistance. Precision-blanked and ball drifted holes ensure the correct fitting of pins and bushings and reduce stresses in the plates. Through-hardened and shot peened for superior performance.

2-guard coating
After heat treatment and polishing, the bushes and pins are coated with a double surface treatment. 2 coatings are applied mechnanically and chemically: one protective coating to prevent inside corrosion and one wear-resistance layer which considerably prolongs the wear life of the chains.
2-Guard coating is applied as standard on almost all DCS roller chains.

Lubricant
All DC Super roller chains are pre-lubricated with premium quality grease.
